I Love Real Estate

1. I meet people from all walks of life

Buyers, sellers, investors, realtors, lenders, contractors. I spend a lot of time doing research in front of my computer, but I am also able to get out in front of people. I enjoy getting to know the people that I am working with, it makes this job so much fun!

2. I help people

There is such a joy when looking at houses with a first time home buyer or seeing the excitement from a seller when they receive the offer that they wanted. There is so much appreciation from someone who hit a rough patch when I help him avoid a credit destroying foreclosure by successfully negotiating a short sale on his behalf. And nothing beats the hugs received from a seller who inherited a home that was too much work for them to handle. I get to make people happy and that is the best feeling in the world!

3. I beautify the neighborhood

As investors, my husband and I get to spruce up the neighborhood. We like to take the ugliest house on the street and make it a home that someone would love to call his or her own. We design a “dream home” for new buyers, help increase the neighbor’s home values, create jobs for local businesses and have fun throughout the process!

4. I make money

I love finding a good deal. I love taking an eyesore and making it breathtaking. I love the fact that I can make money in the process. I am paid to do what I enjoy! Most people do not get to say that.

5. It’s not going anywhere

People need a place to live. They need a roof over their heads. Prices will go up and down, but there will always be people looking to move and there will always be people who need to buy and sell real estate.

I feel like the luckiest person in the world because I truly love what I do for a living! To make it even better, I get to do this with my husband. What could be better than that?
